Thomas J. Liston was named senior vice president strategy and corporate development for Humana in 2000. He has primary responsibility for Humana’s strategic planning new business development strategic alliances product innovation and venture-capital investment operations. He also serves on the board of directors of several venture portfolio companies.
Mr. Liston was a partner with the professional services firm of Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) when he joined Humana in 1995 as director of development. He advanced through a series of financial and development oriented positions prior to being named vice president of corporate development in December 1997. He also led the integration efforts of the company’s largest acquisitions. A certified public accountant Mr. Liston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. |
