Thomas H. Witmer, (65), is the retired president, chief executive officer and a director of Medrad, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of equipment and systems that enhance the clarity of medical imaging used in angiography, computed tomography and MRI procedures. Prior to Medrad, Mr. Witmer was president and chief executive officer of Union Carbide Imaging Systems and also served in a number of executive positions with Corning, Inc. in the company's medical products division. He also owns Granite State Log Homes, Inc., a log home construction company based in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Mr. Witmer holds an MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering also from the University of Pennsylvania. He became an MSA director in 1997. |
