As Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Corporate Controller, Tom Jeter is responsible for all accounting functions within the company, including United States GAAP accounting policy and SEC and statutory reporting, tax planning and compliance, as well as management responsibility for the corporate capital management and analysis functions.
Jeter joined PMI as Assistant Corporate Controller in December 2002.
Prior to joining PMI, Jeter was with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he was a Senior Manager in the financial services division, leading the West Coast mortgage banking practice. In addition to his public accounting experience, Jeter worked for two years at Provident Funding, a top 20 mortgage originator located in Burlingame, California. While at Provident he was primarily responsible for the treasury and accounting functions.
Jeter is Chairman of the Mortgage Insurance Companies of America Accounting and Finance Committee.
Jeter holds a B.S. in finance from the University of San Francisco, and is a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
