Tom Gordy has nearly twenty years of experience in investment banking, including financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and other corporate finance services for large and middle market companies. As Senior Managing Director at CM&D Capital Advisors LLC, Mr. Gordy has provided financial advisory, capital raising, and restructuring services to clients with aggregate transaction value of over $3.5 billion. Prior to joining CM&D Capital, Mr. Gordy was a Managing Director at Bank One Capital Markets. He was responsible for originating, structuring, managing and executing public and private debt financings, including high yield and investment grade securities and private placements of senior debt and mezzanine capital. Mr. Gordy managed over $2 billion in such transactions while covering a variety of industries working closely with the bank’s Automotive Group, Large Corporate Groups and Middle Market Groups. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at First Chicago Capital Markets Inc., the investment banking subsidiary of First Chicago NBD. Mr. Gordy received his Master in Business Administration in Finance and his Bachelor of General Studies in Economics from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association. Mr. Gordy has executed a large number of M&A and capital raise transactions for automotive suppliers, including Penda Corporation, CTC, Engineered Plastic Products, Venture Holdings, Intermet Corporation, KL Industries, Hastings Manufacturing, Federal Mogul and many others. |
