Before co-founding Kerogen Resources, Inc., Mr. Harris was President and founding partner of PetroSolutions, a Houston-based engineering and geotechnical consultancy to the oil and gas industry. Previously, he served as Vice President of Reservoir Management for 3 years at an international oil & gas firm based in Houston. Prior to that, he served seven years as President and CEO of ResTech, a Houston-based reservoir engineering firm and lead contractor to the Gas Research Institute for reservoir characterization in unconventional shales, coalbed methane and tight gas sands, etc.
Mr. Harris also was Exploration Manager for Canadian Hunter Exploration in Calgary, Alberta for 3 years, and he spent 12 years in various technical and management positions with Amoco Production Company. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Michigan State University and a Master of Science Degree in Geology from the University of South Carolina. He is a registered Geologist in the State of Texas, and an active member of AAPG, SPE, SEG, SPWLA. |
