Thomas G. Cornwell, President of DRS's Sustainment Systems Segment, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, joined the Company in January 2006 through DRS's acquisition of Engineered Supported Systems, Inc. (ESSI). Mr. Cornwell was named President of the Sustainment Systems Segment in October 2006, after serving for six months as Vice President, General Manager of DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc., an operating unit. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Engineered Air Systems, Inc., a unit of ESSI. Earlier, he served in various positions of increasing responsibility in Systems & Electronics, Inc., another ESSI unit, for 24 years. Mr. Cornwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, since 1990. |
