Tom Conforti joined IHOP Corp. in December 2002 as chief financial officer. In his position, Mr. Conforti is responsible for the accounting, finance, information systems, purchasing and risk management departments.
Prior to joining IHOP Corp., Mr. Conforti most recently served as chief financial officer of KB Home (formerly Kaufman and Broad Home), one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S. with annual revenue of $4.5 billion. Previously, he was president and chief operating officer of eMind.com, a provider of knowledge and training solutions to the financial services industry, where he was responsible for all aspects of the operations of a business-to-business e-learning start-up. Prior to eMind.com, Mr. Conforti spent 10 years at The Walt Disney Company, serving in a variety of senior finance and operations capacities. Mr. Conforti previously held the post of vice president, financial control - leveraged capital division at Citicorp, where he was responsible for all planning and forecasting for this worldwide group which concentrated on funding highly leveraged transactions. Mr. Conforti began his professional career at PepsiCo in finance and strategy roles in its soft drink division.
He received a BA in economics from the University of Connecticut and a MBA in finance from New York University. |
