Thomas G. Auchincloss, Jr. currently serves as Head of Business Development - New Technologies. Prior to that he served as our chief financial officer and vice president of finance and corporate development from May 2005 to August 2007. From April 2002 to May 2005, Mr. Auchincloss was a consultant to Metabolix, providing business development, financial and strategic consulting services. From 1994 to 2001, Mr. Auchincloss served in a variety of positions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated, most recently as vice president, finance and treasurer. Prior to Vertex, Mr. Auchincloss served as an investment banker in the corporate finance department at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. where he was responsible for executing a variety of transactions including public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory assignments. Mr. Auchincloss received a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School. |
