Thomas F. Brady is Executive Vice President Corporate Strategy at Constellation Energy with responsibility for setting corporate strategy overseeing corporate mergers and acquisitions managing governmental affairs corporate communications and branding. He assumed the corporate strategy position in 1999. In December 2006 he was named Chairman of Baltimore Gas and Electric Company and from 2002-2006 he was responsible for Constellation NewEnergy and the retail line of business. Prior to his current position at Constellation Energy Mr. Brady held various executive officer positions at Baltimore Gas and Electric including Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer.
Active in business civic and community affairs Mr. Brady serves as a trustee/director of Corporate Office Properties Trust (NYSE:OFC) Maryland Chamber of Commerce Villa Julie College and Chairman of the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission (2003-2007). In the past he has served as a director of the YMCA of Central Maryland Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce Safe Harbor Water Power Company (Conestoga PA) Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership and a Committee Chairman for the USGA 2002 Senior Open.
Mr. Brady earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Baltimore and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola College in Baltimore. He also has completed the advanced executive program at Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Brady is a Certified Public Accountant and in 1988-1989 he was chairman of the American Gas Association Accounting Advisory Council a select group of nationally recognized financial experts that regularly provided guidance to the Financial Accounting Standards Board in developing accounting guidelines for regulated energy enterprises. He was also selected as member of the 1988 U.S. Delegation for the Future Leaders Exchange Program to Europe. The delegation provided economic intelligence to the United States Information Agency regarding the proposed European Economic Community.
Mr. Brady is 57 years old and served in the Air National Guard/USAF between 1970 and 1976. |
