Mr. Goldrick joined State Bank of Long Island in 1968, a year after its inception, with a wide range of branch and lending responsibilities. In 1969, he was made Assistant Vice President and coordinated the organization of the commercial lending department. Mr. Goldrick also initiated development of a commercial loan portfolio and in 1975 was appointed to the Board of Directors Loan Committee. In 1979, he was named Executive Vice President. He became President and CEO in 1981 and Chairman of the Board in 1989. Currently, Mr. Goldrick is a leader and supporter of many charitable organizations, particularly those involving youth. State Bank of Long Island has provided many opportunities for youth through the implementation of "job shadowing" and money management programs in order to educate them about the banking system. A graduate of St. John's University, Mr. Goldrick serves on the Board of the New York Bankers Association and was a past president (1995-1996); currently serves on the Board and was a past chairman of the New York Business Development Corporation; is a past Chairman of the Long Island Division of Robert Morris Associates and past Treasurer and Board Member of the Independent Bankers Association of New York. |
