Product Liability
Thomas F. Fisher has over thirty-five years of experience in litigation including the defense of product liability litigation against manufacturers of over a hundred different products. He has represented several manufacturers of household electrical appliances on a nationwide basis requiring in-depth expertise of fire and explosions, electrocutions, burns and property damage. He has handled these cases in thirty states and two Canadian provinces and successfully tried jury cases in Boston, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Des Moines, Iowa; and Seattle, Washington in addition to his home states of Missouri and Kansas. Additionally, he has represented public utilities involved in electrical power generation, transmission and distribution in power line electrical contact cases.
Mr. Fisher was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Jackson County, Missouri from 1970 to 1972, after serving as an Officer in the United States Navy aboard a minesweeper during the Vietnam War.
