Mr. Gay has more than 35 years of experience as a finance professional with the vast majority of his career spent at technology companies. From May 1998 to May 2007, Mr. Gay served as CFO of Catalyst Semiconductor (NASDAQ: CATS), a developer of mixed-signal and memory ICs for telecommunications, consumer, and other markets. At Catalyst, Mr. Gay played a fundamental role in the turnaround of the company during its insolvency period and achieved continued profitability for eight years thereafter. During his tenure, Mr. Gay was responsible for Finance, Treasury, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Insurance and Facilities. From 1981 to 1998, Mr. Gay held a succession of controller positions at five previous companies where he was generally responsible for all accounting functions and financial processes. These controller positions included the corporate controller for Wireless Access Inc., an earlier term as controller for Catalyst Semiconductor, the corporate controller for Sanmina Corporation, the controller and VP of administration at IndTech Corporation, and a division controller at NEC Electronics, USA.
