Tom Flynn is Executive Vice-President, Finance and Treasurer in the Corporate Communications, Corporate and Legal Affairs, Economics and Finance (CLEF) area.
Tom was appointed to his current position effective December 1, 2004, and leads a new group that brings together Financial Strategy, Corporate Treasury and Economics. The new group is accountable for mergers and acquisitions, financial strategy, asset liability management, capital management, development and analysis and financial and economic research.
Tom joined a predecessor of BMO Capital Markets in 1992 and subsequently rose to the position of Managing Director and Group Head, Financial Services in the Investment and Corporate Banking group. Prior to joining the Bank, Tom was Manager, Insolvency Group at Ernst and Young. He obtained his MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario (with Honours) and has his CA designation (Ontario Gold Medalist). |
