Thomas Taff, known as "Denny", has had a long and illustrious career in both the St. Louis City Police Department and the hospitality industry. As Corporate Director of Security for LHM, he is charged with developing and implementing loss prevention and safety plans and procedures to minimize guest and employee injuries and losses. Taff also monitors the security and life safety practices at all LHM properties. He began in the St. Louis Police force, rising through the ranks to Commander of the Traffic/Safety Division. He served as a detective in the Intelligence Division and later as an undercover agent specializing in violent crime and narcotics. He was honored with five commendations and awards during his vocation as a police officer. Taff brought his security skills to the hospitality industry, and was appointed Director of Security for the Stouffer's Riverfront Towers. His abilities were recognized when he was named Regional Security Consultant for AIRCOA (owners of a national chain of hotels). He then joined the Marriott Pavilion Hotel as Director of Loss Prevention and was promoted to that position for all Marriott Hotels in St. Louis. In an uncertain time, when security is a primary concern, Denny Taff brings astuteness and a well practiced command to an important area in the hotel industry. |
