Lynch served in the Navy for 31 years, retiring in 1995 with the rank of Rear Admiral. He is now Senior Vice President and Director of The Staubach Company's Federal Sector in the Washington, D.C., area. The Staubach Company provides property-relocation services to tenants. Thomas C. Lynch graduated from the Naval Academy with a bachelor of science degree in 1964, and earned a master of science degree at George Washington University. His Naval Service included Chief, Navy Legislative Affairs; command of the Eisenhower Battle Group during Operation Desert Shield; Superintendent of the Naval Academy from 1991 to 1994; and Director of the Navy Staff in the Pentagon from 1994 to 1995. In 1963, Lynch was captain of the Navy football team that finished second in the nation. He played center and linebacker. |
