Tom works on a broad range of issues arising out of state and federal environmental laws. He is primarily responsible to the firm’s clients on contested environmental matters. This representation includes compliance with state, federal and international laws. He represents clients before state and federal regulatory authorities as well as state and federal courts nationwide with respect to these environmental issues.
Tom also represents clients by actively participating in numerous PRP groups, committees and subcommittees, in connection with federal or state equivalent Superfund Sites, regarding contribution claims, allocation and joint defense issues.
In addition to environmental litigation, Tom represents clients with respect to environmental due diligence in connection with the purchase or sale of a business or real estate.
Tom also has over 27 years of litigation related experience representing clients at jury trials, bench trials, administrative proceedings and appeals throughout the country.
Tom was in private practice before joining McGrath North in 1981 and has been a shareholder in McGrath North since 1981.
