Butera is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City and a co-founder, with Peter Wardle, of P2i. He joined the board of Protosource upon the closing of the P2i merger. Within P2i he had a similar role to the one he holds within Protosource: all sales, account management and technical functions ultimately report back to Butera. Technology has always been his focus and he has led teams in the development of an array of New Media based, business-to-business marketing tools for such clients as Lucent Technologies, Black and Decker, Alliance Capital and Monsanto. Prior to 1993 Butera served as the creative leader at Prudential Securities for almost six years. He was responsible for transitioning that company's design group from traditional design layout techniques to computer-based design. |
