Tom joined the Datatel team in 1980 as a Product Manager for Datatel's flagship Colleague solution. He continued as Director of Marketing and subsequently became the company's leader of New Product Development. He held that role until 1985, when he became Vice President of Distributor Sales and New Product Development. Tom continued on as Vice President of Government Software, and then as Vice President of Software Development, CIO for 6 years. Today Tom leads Datatel as the Vice President of Software Development. During his tenure at Datatel, the company has received the U.S. Senate Productivity and Quality Award (SPQA), which is the highest quality award presented by the State of Virginia. Tom attended the Catholic University of America, where he earned his degree in History in 1975. Tom has been a member of the Virginia SPQA Board for four years. He has also served as a member of IEEE, ASQC and TEC. |
