Tom White was a co-owner of White and Havens Insurance in Highland Indiana when the agency was acquired by First Financial Insurance in 2004. He remained with First Financial Insurance as a producer of new business especially commercial property and casualty insurance.
White earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Northwood University and started his insurance career in 1972 when he joined the family-owned White Insurance Agency. He earned his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1984. In the city of Hammond Indiana he is a member of the planning commission and board of zoning appeals. A member of the board of directors of the Red Cross of Northwest Indiana and the Woodland Child Development Center he is also a Rotarian an Optimist and a member of the American Legion and Pirates Inc. |
