Tom Rolander has been at the forefront of emerging technologies for over 25 years. Tom has founded and provided key management and engineering leadership for a number of successful software companies including PG Soft, Novell and Digital Research. Tom's Career Highlights include design of multi-tasking (MP/M) and network (CP/NET) operating systems for the early microcomputers; development of the first encyclopedia (Grolier) on CD-ROM; creation of the Sony Electronic Book Authoring System (SEBAS) for the Sony Data Discman; concept and design of the Tape-It drive letter redirector for 3M; design and implementation of the 2003 Codie award winning Novell iFolder internet application, a secure internet based client file system replication tool. PG Soft sold to Novell in 2001. Tom earned his BS in Civil Engineering and his MS in Electrical Enginereering / Computer Science from University of Washington. |
