Thomas Hanley leads the permanent placement business Smith Hanley Associates within the inVentiv Clinical franchise of inVentiv Health.
Prior to his current role Mr. Hanley was President and CEO of the Smith Hanley Companies which was acquired by inVentiv Health in October 2004. He co-founded Smith Hanley Associates Inc. in 1980 developed the firm's Consulting Group in 1995 and acquired MedFocus in 2000. The client base for these firms includes the top pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms in the United States.
Mr. Hanley received a B.S. in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and completed the course work for an M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Concurrent with the creation of Smith Hanley he attended New York Law School graduating cum laude with his JD degree. |
