As a member of the Client Technology Services Group, Tom works with attorneys throughout the firm on matters that involve complex electronic discovery issues and technology needs.
Tom consults with attorneys and paralegals on a range of topics in order to create cost-effective and efficient litigation solutions. Tom works with a discovery team to interview clients and potential witnesses, collect relevant materials, and create a streamlined plan for the review and production of documents. In addition to creating and maintaining internal document and information management databases, Tom interacts with service vendors on more complex matters, handling proposals and pricing negotiations to provide an added level of service to our clients. Additionally, Tom works with attorneys in preparing for pre-trial conferences, depositions, arbitrations, and trials, and is often the sole non-attorney in the courtroom managing the electronic trial presentation.
Tom is a member of the firm’s Electronic Discovery (eDiscovery) Response and Legal Team and has assisted with defining and developing Leonard, Street and Deinard’s Best Practices. In addition to his appointed positions with several organizations, Tom is a frequent speaker on litigation software, best practices, and electronic discovery solutions.
