Tom practices in the areas of venture capital, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and general corporate law. He primarily represents start-up and emerging growth companies and the investors that fund them. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Tom was a corporate associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins LLP.

Tom received his B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University and his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
