Theun van Halewijn started with Heidrick & Struggles in 2006. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, he worked for almost 10 years in various international management positions with Royal Philips Electronics in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
In his last function, Theun was responsible for the product planning of the Philips Flat TV business globally during a period of tremendous growth. Prior to that he spent three years in Corporate Strategy at Philips, and before that he was product/marketing manager in Philips' Car Systems division, working with OEMs like Renault and Peugeot.
Theun started his career in aerospace, working for Fokker Aircraft in Amsterdam and Daimler Benz Aerospace in Munich.
Education
Theun holds a master's degree in industrial design engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
