Theresa Wise was appointed senior vice president and chief information officer of Northwest Airlines in June 2007. Wise reports directly to Doug Steenland president and chief executive officer.
Previously she served as vice president - information services since October 2001 overseeing the Northwest Airlines Information Services (IS) group.
Wise joined Northwest in 1993 and prior to her appointment as vice president - information services she held the position of managing director information services.
Wise graduated from St. Olaf College with a bachelor of arts in mathematics and chemistry and holds a Ph.D. and a master of science degree in operations research and applied math from Cornell University. She is an active supporter of the arts having served on the boards of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra the Children's Theatre Company and as a violinist with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra. |
