With over twenty years of investment management experience, she provides comprehensive wealth management services to taxable private investors, their families, and philanthropies.
From 1996 until joining FBR's Private Client Group in 1999, Ms. Balaran was Managing Director- Client Services and a member of the investment policy committee at Potomac Asset Management in Bethesda, Maryland.
Throughout 1995, she was a financial services consultant whose clients included the Pension Department of The World Bank. From 1984 to 1994, she worked for Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. in New York where she served as Manager of Corporate Communications, Senior Associate in the Private Client Group, and a Manager in the Large Pension Services area.
Ms. Balaran earned a B.A. from the George Washington University and a Masters Degree from Trinity College, Dublin (Ireland). |
