Ted Kommers is a partner in Gould & Ratner's litigation department. He represents clients before mediation and arbitration panels, state trial and appellate courts, and federal trial and appellate courts. His commercial practice includes complex litigation involving all aspects of telecommunications, construction law, real estate disputes, the Uniform Commercial Code, intellectual property disputes, general commercial and business disputes, as well as inter-partnership and corporate disputes. Ted also heads the firm's black lung litigation department. Ted graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1988 with a major in Government and a minor in Business. He graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 1992. In law school, Ted served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy, was a Thomas J. White Law and Government Scholar, and was an officer of the Student Bar Association. Following law school, Ted clerked for the Honorable Federico A. Moreno, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Florida. |
