Theodore F. Craver Jr. is the chairman president and chief executive officer of Edison Mission Group (EMG) which manages the competitive power generation business of Edison International. EMG owns and operates independent power production facilities and provides capital and financial services supporting the growth of energy and infrastructure projects and services. He was elected to the position on January 1 2005.
Previously Craver was executive vice president of parent company Edison International and held the position of chief financial officer and treasurer since January 1 2000.
Before joining Edison on September 1 1996 Craver served as executive vice president and corporate treasurer of First Interstate Bancorp from 1991 to 1996. In that role he was responsible for corporate development treasury and sales and trading of investment and insurance products. During his 12 years at First Interstate Craver also served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the wholesale banking subsidiary from 1986 to 1991. Before joining First Interstate he spent four years with Bankers Trust Company of New York and seven years with Security Pacific National Bank in various capital markets sales and trading capacities.
Craver currently serves on the board of directors of Health Net Inc. He also serves on the board of directors of the Electric Power Supply Association the board of trustees of the Autry National Center and the board of trustees of the Orange County Performing Arts Center.
Craver earned an M.B.A. and B.A. in economics and international relations from the University of Southern California. |
