With more than 20 years’ experience in finance and operations, Thad Bydlon has led numerous emerging and Fortune 100 companies through early-stage funding, IPOs, and mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Bydlon has diverse financial and operational experience, domestically and internationally, in advanced telecommunications technology, energy and other vertical markets. Most recently, Bydlon served as chief financial officer for Caerus, Inc. and Volo Communications, Inc., a VoIP telecommunications wholesale carrier and service provider. Before Caerus and Volo, Bydlon was chief financial officer for TeleComputing ASA, a complete IT-outsourcing Application Service Provider for small to medium size businesses, where he raised more than $80 million through private equity placements and an IPO during a down market. Prior to TeleComputing, Bydlon previously held numerous corporate and senior operating positions for ARCO, a Fortune 100 energy company. As treasury officer, Bydlon was responsible for leading ARCO’s record-size $3 billion IPO spin-off on the NYSE, managing a $400 million international commercial paper program, and heading up the corporate merger & acquisition team. He also served in a variety of senior executive positions worldwide, including vice president of ARCO’s Latin American operations in Venezuela, where he orchestrated the merger integration of ARCO and BP Amoco, and in Moscow as first vice president for LukARCO B.V., a joint venture with Russia’s largest oil company, Lukoil. Beginning his career, Bydlon was a PBX operating system engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories. |
