Terry Wilson was named Vice President, Area Operations Southeast Area in October 2006. In this role, Wilson is the senior postal official in an area that encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee. He is responsible for postal operations including mail processing and distribution, customer service and sales and administrative operations. He reports to the Deputy Postmaster General and Chief Operating Officer.
In his position as Southeast Area operations support manager, Wilson played a significant role in restoring postal operations to affected areas of Texas and Louisiana following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005.
Wilson began his career as a custodian in 1975, and has since served in a variety of positions, including district manager for Houston and Oklahoma. |
