Terry Watne is the Administrative Director of the Medical Specialty Care Division which is comprised of all specialties within Altru Health System. Mr. Watne is a graduate of the University of North Dakota College of Nursing in 1982, and received his Masters Degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University in 1990. Prior to assuming his current position in July 1997, he served as a staff nurse - Pediatrics, 1982-1984; Patient Care Supervisor, 1984-1986; Administrative Department Director - Pediatrics, 1986-1993; Manager of Occupation Health, 1992-1993; Interim Administrator for Karlstad Health Facilities, 1993; and the Executive Leader for Cardiology, Radiology and Laboratory, 1993-1997.
Mr. Watne is active in several professional organizations: American Organization of Nurse Executives, North Dakota Organization of Nurse Executives, American Nurses Association, North Dakota Nurses Association, American College of Health Care Executives, Association of Community Cancer Centers, and the North Dakota Healthcare Association. He has also been active in the American Heart Association and is a member of the greater Grand Forks Sertoma Club. Mr. Watne is a US Navy Veteran, 1973-1977. |
