Practicing primarily in Commercial Litigation
Mr. Care is a partner in the Firm’s Las Vegas office, and is engaged primarily in general civil and tort litigation before state and federal courts. Mr. Care has represented clients in the gaming, energy, printing, and furniture industries, and in matters involving libel law. Before entering the practice of law, he was a broadcast and print journalist, and was news director for the ABC-TV affiliate in Las Vegas.
Mr. Care was elected to the Nevada State Senate in 1998, and re-elected in 2002 and 2006. He serves on the Senate Committees on Judiciary, Government Affairs, and Taxation. He is a Commissioner with the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, serving as a member of its drafting committee for the Uniform Assignment of Rents Act, and as Chairman of the drafting committee for the Model Registered Agents Act.
Mr. Care is a decorated army Vietnam veteran, a member of the Nevada Veterans Service Commission, and serves as Nevada Department Judge Advocate for the American Legion.
