Educated, experienced, and distinguished, Terry R. Hanna serves of counsel for Crowe & Dunlevy in Oklahoma City. Recognized as a key practioner in The Best Lawyers in America for tax law, Mr. Hanna focuses his practice areas on taxation, as well as on trusts and estates laws. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant, receiving his professional license in Oklahoma in 1970. He was later admitted to the Bar in Oklahoma in 1972, the United States Tax Court in 1973, and finally the United States Supreme Court in 1989. Mr. Hanna is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Taxation Section, where he served as president in 1977. Following this service, he was a Special Lecturer for the University of Oklahoma College of Law from 1978 through 1980. Mr. Hanna is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law (J.D., 1972). During his time at OU, he was awarded the Prentice Hall Tax Award and the Liberty Bank Outstanding Senior award. Additionally, he served on the Board of Editors for the Oklahoma Law Review. Mr. Hanna also earned degrees from the New York University School of Law (LL.M., 1973), the Dallas Theological Seminary (M.A.B.S., 1988) and the University of Oklahoma (B.B.A., 1968). |
