Terri Hill is executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Nationwide, one of the largest diversified insurance and financial services companies in the world. She was elected to this position in 2003.
She is responsible for the operations of Nationwide Better Health and for human resources, corporate real estate and aviation for all Nationwide companies.
She previously served as senior vice president for human resources and operations at Scottsdale Insurance, a Nationwide company, where she oversaw human resources, learning resources, facilities, operations and communications. She joined Scottsdale in 1996. Prior to that, she worked at American Express for 11 years in numerous human resources positions, her last as vice president of human resources.
Hill is a board member of the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts and Veterinary Pet Insurance Company of Brea, California, an affiliate of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Arizona State University and a Certificate of Human Resources from Cornell University. She has more than 23 years of diverse human resources and operations experience.
