Terri Hill is executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Nationwide, one of the largest diversified insurance and financial services companies in the world. She was elected to this position in 2003.
She is responsible for human resources, corporate real estate and aviation for all Nationwide companies.
She previously served as senior vice president for human resources at Scottsdale Insurance, a Nationwide company. Prior to that, she served as vice president for human resources at American Express.
Hill earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Arizona State University and a Certificate of Human Resources from Cornell University.
Nationwide, with $158 billion in assets, provides a full range of insurance and financial services, including auto, homeowners, life, health, and commercial insurance; annuities, mutual funds, retirement plans and administrative services. The Nationwide companies include the country’s sixth-largest property/casualty group. Nationwide Life Insurance Company, the major subsidiary of Nationwide Financial, ranks 13th in assets, according to A.M. Best.
