Terrence L. Casto is the senior executive account manager (SEAM) for Ground Prime contractors, Government Communications Systems (GCS). In this capacity, he reports to the vice president of Strategic Management and Business Development. As the Ground Primes SEAM, Mr. Casto serves as the liaison between Harris’ technical and operational staff and Harris’ prime corporate partners, teammates, and customers for ground-based communications and processing programs. Mr. Casto’s focus is on the development of new capabilities in enterprise architectures, information, and knowledge management solutions. In his previous assignment, Mr. Casto was director of Strategic Initiatives for Harris Corporation’s Government Communications Systems Division National Business Unit, reporting to the vice president of Business Development. Prior to that, Mr. Casto was director of Business Development for Intelligence Community programs, and before that, he was director of programs for Law Enforcement Products and Systems. Mr. Casto joined Radiation Systems, Inc., a division of Harris, in 1969. He held positions of increasing responsibility in design, development, systems engineering, engineering management, program management, and business development. Mr. Casto holds a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Akron. He is a graduate of the Harris Senior Management Seminar and has completed numerous postgraduate training programs. Mr. Casto is a recipient of the Harris Government Systems Program Manager of the Year Award, and was named to the annual Federal 100 industry recognition list. Mr. Casto is a member of AUSA, AFA, INSA, NDIA, and AFCEA. He is a regional vice president for AFCEA and a member of the AFCEA Intelligence Subcommittee.
