Teresa M. Goody is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP resident in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Teresa served as a law clerk to Judge Ricardo M. Urbina, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Teresa co-authored The Impact of Trade and Customs Laws Upon International Commercial Transactions, Negotiating and Structuring International Commercial Transactions (ABA 2nd ed. 2003).Teresa also wrote Project, Abortion Protesting, Second Annual Review of Gender and Sexuality Law, 2 Geo. J. Gender & Law 293 (2001) and United States, Competition Policy in Infrastructure services (Inter-American Development Bank internal publication, 2001).
During law school, Teresa received the CALI Award (Best Exam) for Commercial Law: Secured Transactions and was recognized for her pro bono service. She is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia, and before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
