Ms. Dyer is a Senior Policy Advisor in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Washington, D.C., office. She specializes in federal and state government relations for a range of clients. Ms. Dyer brings more than 25 years of experience in government relations. Prior to joining the firm, she was the director of government affairs for Evans and Black, a D.C.-based legislative consulting and lobbying firm. Ms. Dyer has worked with organizations such as Hallmark Cards, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Brinker International, Ticketmaster, Nextel Communications, International Council of Shopping Centers, Girl Scouts of the USA and the National Osteoporosis Foundation. Previously, Ms. Dyer served as director of government relations for Ticketmaster. She helped open the company’s Washington, D.C., government relations office and handled their federal and state legislative issues, including monitoring all state legislation affecting the ticketing industry and managing contract lobbyists. From 1989 to 1995, she worked in the government relations office of the International Council of Shopping Centers, where she assisted in the establishment of their grassroots program, political action committee, key contact program and annual lobby day. She also maintained oversight of state lobbyists across five western states. Beginning in 1986, Ms. Dyer worked on an exploratory committee and subsequent campaign for a presidential candidate for two years. |
