Mr. Roumeliotis was a Principal at Claridge, the Bronfman family operating and investing vehicle, specializing in the wireless and media industries. He was involved in building a leading North American fixed wireless broadband (LMDS) provider; one of the largest film distribution businesses; Rolling Stones concert promotions; and several music and sports companies.
Mr. Roumeliotis was a consultant with Bain & Company Telecom Practice for three years, where he launched a network appliance product - a precursor to modern Internet "thin clients". It was one of the first to bundle device and content aggregation offered by a North American telecom provider. Mr. Roumeliotis led many other telecom initiatives such as service provisioning and network management. He spearheaded selection and implementation of Fleet Management software for improved routing and tracking management. He was the highest-ranked Associate in his Bain Class of 1993 and received two promotions, both awarded first among his 56 North American peers.
Mr. Roumeliotis also co-founded a medical device startup. Their innovative product streamlined CABG surgery, reached $1 million in revenue and is now deployed in hospitals throughout the US and Europe, including Stanford. Mr. Roumeliotis is a Harvard MBA (1998). He holds a B.A. and a B.Comm. from McGill University with Joint Honors in Economics and Finance, where he ranked first in his class and graduated with Great Distinction. |
