Tasneem Chipty, Vice President in CRA’s Economic Litigation Group, is an expert in the in the areas of industrial organization and econometrics, and has extensive knowledge of the media markets. Dr. Chipty has conducted and directed a number of economic and econometric analyses of antitrust issues, including vertical restraints, exclusionary practices, collusion, and predation. She has also provided analyses for rate setting hearings and for business negotiations. Dr. Chipty has authored over 15 articles and has published in leading scholarly journals, such as the American Economic Review. Dr. Chipty has given invited presentations to a number of audiences, including the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. She also serves as referee for many scholarly journals, as well as the National Science Foundation. Prior to joining CRA, Dr. Chipty was on faculty at Ohio State University and Brandeis University, where she taught Ph.D. level courses in industrial organization, econometrics, and microeconomic theory. |
