Tarang Amin was named vice president Global Health & Wellness Leader in September 2006. In this position, Amin is responsible for leading the development of a global strategy to support and extend the company's health-and-wellness platform. In addition, he has responsibility for all Laundry & Home Care Division marketing.
Amin joined Clorox in 2003 as vice president Marketing, Home Care, and added responsibility for Laundry marketing in 2004. He has led the company's business-building efforts on health & wellness in Laundry & Home Care, including establishing a partnership agreement with the American Red Cross in 2006.
Prior to joining Clorox, Amin worked for 12 years at Procter & Gamble, where he held marketing director positions for the Pantene and Bounty brands.
Amin is a member of the board of directors of the Piedmont Council Boy Scouts in Piedmont, Calif.
Born in Kenya of Indian ethnicity, Amin grew up in the Washington, D.C., area. He holds bachelor's degree in international policy and master's degrees in business administration from Duke University. |
