Tara Martens joined Moffatt Thomas as a partner in our Twin Falls and Boise offices in 2007. Prior to her joining the firm, Tara was a partner with Tolman, Brizee & Martens. Ms. Martens’ practice focuses on insurance defense litigation with emphasis on professional malpractice and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 matters; commercial litigation; health care; business and real estate transactions.Ms. Martens is an Adjunct Professor at Boise State University, College of Southern Idaho Campus, where she teaches business law courses, including Commercial Law and Law for Accountants I and II, to students seeking a Bachelor in Business Administration in Management and/or Accounting.Ms. Martens is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is admitted to practice before all federal district courts in Idaho.Ms. Martens received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics, magna cum laude, from Boise State University, and her Juris Doctorate cum laude from Tulane University School of Law. |
