Tara Guizot is Vice President of Finance who joined SunAmerica in 2000. Ms. Guizot's primary responsibilities include managing the Debt Advisory Group underwriting group responsible for the underwriting of the new tax credit transactions to support Investment Committee. Her other duties include facilitating the restructure and refinance of permanent loans on SunAmerica-owned debt and the management of SunAmerica's proprietary debt program for 9% tax credit transactions. Prior to joining SunAmerica, Ms. Guizot spent 23 years as a mortgage banker originating construction and permanent debt products for conventional and tax exempt bond transactions on multifamily properties. During this tenure, she was employed by Banc One, GMAC Commercial Mortgage and First Interstate Bank. Ms. Guizot originated loans for primary lenders, such as insurance companies, banks, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Ms. Guizot has a strong background and knowledge of underwriting skills for multifamily transactions under the Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac Program Plus product lines for conventional and affordable housing. She obtained an undergraduate business degree with an emphasis on Real Estate Finance and Investments from the University of Southern California.
