Ms. Elgie joined the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Group in September 2003. Her practice focuses on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy litigation, with an emphasis on Chapter 11 reorganizations and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Elgie was a law clerk to the Honorable Robert G. Mayer, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria, Virginia, 2002-2003. While in law school Ms. Elgie served as an Associate Editor on the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest, and participated in a clinical placement program through which she obtained an internship with the Honorable Douglas O. Tice, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division. |
