Tamu K. (T.K.) Floyd is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP, based in the Firm’s Washington D.C. office. She is a member of the Trial Department.
Prior to joining McDermott Will & Emery, T.K. was a law clerk for the Honorable Rosemary M. Collyer of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, and for the Honorable Judge C. Arlen Beam of the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit in Lincoln, Nebraska. T.K. also served as a litigation associate for a Texas law firm.
While in law school, T.K. was the senior managing editor for the Indiana Law Journal, was a member of the Black Law Students Association, and worked as a summer associate for two separate law firms.
T.K. is admitted to practice in Texas and Indiana (inactive), as well as the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the District of Columbia, the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the Northern and Western Districts of Texas.
