Professional Experience
Ms. Jones´ practice focuses on municipal water matters, as well as water supply issues related to new development projects. She assists clients with conjunctive use programs and projects, including water transfers and exchanges. In addition, she has worked on matters involving state and federal permitting issues. Ms. Jones´ professional experience encompasses the following areas:
Successful appeal to the state Water Resources Board overturning Regional Board discharge requirements.
Representation of clients in complying with California SB 610 and 221.
Assisting clients in matters involving groundwater adjudication court actions.
Assisting clients with issues related to storm water discharge regulations.
Prior to joining Weston Benshoof, Ms. Jones served as a law clerk for the Metropolitan Water District.
