Tami Erwin is president - Washington/Baltimore/Virginia Region for Verizon Wireless, responsible for the company's operations in Washington DC, Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Erwin has held several key positions during her tenure with Verizon Wireless. Most recently, she served as president - Southwest Region. Prior to that, she served as area vice president - Customer Service for Verizon Wireless, responsible for the company's customer service operations for customers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, and El Paso, Texas.
Erwin began her career in the wireless industry in 1987 as a customer service representative for US WEST in Bellevue, WA. Later she held a series of management positions representing a broad range of customer service functions, including outbound calling, technical operations, call center administration, activations and service inquiries. She also worked on an international team responsible for implementing cellular service in Hungary
