Ms. Tamara Wagman is an experienced attorney whose practice primarily involves a full range of information technology and intellectual property issues, business matters including mergers and acquisitions and securities, and banking regulation. Her experience includes activities from drafting and negotiating software and hardware licenses and development agreements to overseeing compliance with OCC, Federal Reserve, FDIC and various state banking authorities during mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Wagman was an Associate at Hall, Estill, Hardwick, Gable, Golden & Nelson, P.C., before joining Frederic Dorwart, Lawyers in 1998. At Hall Estill she also dealt extensively with an array of activities relating to securities and business transactions.Outside of the office, Ms. Wagman is active in evaluating and improving the legislation governing technology in Oklahoma. She is currently the Co-Chairperson of the Oklahoma Legislative Review Committee for the Uniform Electronic Transaction Act and a Member of another committee reviewing software licensing legislation. In addition to these legislative activities, Mss. Wagman has also been a speaker at a number of conferences on internet law in Oklahoma. Ms. Wagman received her J.D., magna cum laude, in 1995 from the Vermont Law School, where was an editor of the Vermont Law Review. In 1992 she received her B.A., with highest distinction, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There she was elected to the honor society, Phi Beta Kappa, and to the Innocents Society for outstanding scholarship and leadershi. |
