In addition to overseeing the professional practice and consulting organization at Equity Methods, Takis is an expert in the complexities of equity compensation instruments. He spearheaded the original research and development underlying Option Navigator, the firm’s FAS 123R web-based financial reporting tool, and continues to develop and refine corporate strategy with respect to current and future product and service offerings. Takis leverages extensive consulting experience in overseeing the consulting practice at Equity Methods, while remaining active in the firm’s research efforts. He works frequently with finance and HR executives at Fortune 500 corporations to address their valuation and compliance needs, and is critically engaged with accounting and valuation thought-leaders from consulting firms, public accounting, and academia. He is a nationally recognized speaker at industry conferences across the country, and frequently leads user conferences to enhance knowledge-sharing among client firms and expand the professional practice at Equity Methods. Takis is a coauthor of Accounting for Equity Compensation, Third Edition, which is a required text for the CEP designation. Takis holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from the W.P.
