Takahiro Kato is the president of McAfee, Japan and a senior vice president for McAfee, Inc., worldwide. Kato is responsible for all sales and business operations for McAfee businesses in Japan, including McAfee System Security Technologies and McAfee Network Security Technologies.
Prior to joining McAfee in April of 1999, Kato spent three years at Nippon Digital Equipment Corporation as both managing director, overseeing the partner sales division, and chief of the Microsoft® Windows® NT business center. Kato has also served as president of Nippon Racal Redac, a Japanese affiliate of British EDA vendor. Additionally, Kato spent five years at start up Tandem Computers in Japan as sales district manager.
Kato holds a bachelor's degree in telecommunication technology from the University of Shibaura Institute of Technology. |
